Sept 13, 2010 Meeting Chayse

Melissa was in labor off and on all weekend and we all went to church on Sunday. She was having some pretty good contractions all through church and during the afternoon. Finally about 7pm; they left for the hospital. Nana stayed home with Kingston and they called after getting to the hospital to say that they were keeping her. I got a call later in the night (or early AM to say that Chayse was born!) How was I suppose to go back to sleep after that? So fun! Later that morning, I brought Kingston to the hospital to see his folks and to meet his new brother. What a blessing all these sweet little ones coming into our family!!!!

It was a glorious day at the beach and trying to get Melissa into labor;
we enjoyed a very leisurely walk along the shore. Very peaceful and beautiful!

Sept 09, 2010 San Diego Sights

While we were in Oceanside; we took a tour of the San Diego harbor and went to Old Town and visited the Mormon Battalion site. What a beautiful day! We were hoping to put Melissa into labor before Doug had to return to OR; but it didn't work!
